Adult Class: Reptile Sketching

Academy artist Stephenie Koniers, who has a fine arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, will provide tips and assistance with drawing live animals. Enjoy the rare opportunity to draw our live reptiles at leisure while Michael Kaczmarczik, an Academy teacher-naturalist shares the natural history of each animal. No experience is necessary.

Paleo Illustration: Bringing Ancient Beasts to Life

The group will examine fossils from our Paleontology Collection, exhibits in Dinosaur Hall, and live animals. Poole has had his artwork published in National Geographic Magazine, Science, National Geographic World, National Geographic television specials, several museum exhibits, and other publications.
