Notes from Artistacon

The first Artistacon conference, which took place in September in Burlington, NJ, brought together some of the best illustrators and creators working today. Artistacon sponsored the Student Award at this year’s Phillustration 2016, which was won by Zachary Manbeck. The illustration is highlighted in a double page spread of the current issue of The Edge magazine published By University of The Arts, and the piece sold during the show – always a welcome outcome!

Chris will have an Artistacon booth at the Camden Comic Con which runs April 8 from 10 AM to 6 PM at Rutgers University Camden campus, 301 Linden Street, Camden, NJ 08102. Next to the Artistacon booth will be artist Jon Schindehette, and Artistacon is sponsoring his two lectures at the con on the art of gaming and creative entrepreneurship.
