BCIS Illustrators in Philadelphia Sketch Club Exhibit
Artwork by several members of the Bucks County Illustrators Society was accepted into the Philadelphia Sketch Club’s juried illustration show Phillustration 7, held at the club’s Center City headquarters, 235 S. Camac Street. The Sketch Club is the oldest association for artists in the country, dating back to 1860. This exhibit features area illustrators whose work ranges from children’s book illustration to fantasy to advertising art and runs from November 2 to November 27. An opening reception and award ceremony is on Sunday, November 8 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Sketch Club.
Represented in the exhibit are BCIS members Pat Achilles , Pam Hamilton and Deb Hoeffner of Doylestown, Rebecca Rhodin of Allentown, Glenn Zimmer of North Wales, and Joe DeVito of Chalfont.
The Philadelphia Sketch Club gallery hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
