Wonderful Opening Night at Bucks County Illustrators Society Exhibit
The BCIS exhibit sponsored by the Barn Studio Gallery at Gronendahl Farm was happily swarming with art lovers Friday evening for the opening reception and meet-the-artists night. The show was masterfully arranged and the evening delightfully hosted by the Barn Studio Gallery’s Kim Gronendahl. Some of the exhibit is below, photos courtesy of BCIS’s Deb Hoeffner (click photo to enlarge):
These are the original illustrations created by the artists, many used for magazine articles, children’s books, fabric design and other commercial uses, and almost all are for sale. There are also a number of prints for sale by the artists, as well as some prints by the late silkscreen artist Anita Gronendahl. Included in the show are pieces by BCIS founders Pat Achilles, Monika Hinterwaldner and Glenn Zimmer, and members James Bennett, Amanda Lee Condict, Ponder Goembel, Pamela Convery-Hamilton, Richard A. Harrington, Deb Hoeffner, John Huber, Kim Kurki, Linda La Rose, Kathryn Maxwell and Rebecca Rhodin. The show is up through next weekend, with hours from 1 PM to 6 PM on Oct. 11 and 12, and by appointment at any other time. For information contact Kim Gronendahl at 267.337.3023.
